Horizontal Velocity Profile Output

Hello - I'm running a W2 model for a lake in New Zealand that has been calibrated for hydrodynamics and temperature. However, I want to output vertical profiles of horizontal velocity (U, m/s) at a specifc time step and model segment. I can output similar data for temperature by turning on the "Spreadsheet Profile Plot" output, but can't find how to do this for horizontal velocity. Any help would be much appreciated!

Hello, after you turning on U in control file (HPRWBC), you can find it in snapshot file. Jirka

I managed to extract the U-velocity profiles with your suggestion - so many thanks!

For about $200 ish Canadian you can download the APGM software from Loginetics. You would be able to animate and plot time series or profiles or what you are describing, at specific segments/layers in your model.
