This email follows up my phone call to Tom, regarding the implementation of sediment resuspension and transport component in CE-QUAL-W2. Since the current
version doesnot include the resuspension, I am trying to find a proper way
to work around for my riverine project. The project focus on sediment and
algae induced turbidity. I am thinking about using onsite data to derive
relationship and calculate suspension load based on hydrodynamics, and
adding this load to bottom cells as distributed load. Would you have some
suggestions on this if it is doable. How the current version handle sediment
transport? There is also issue of non-cohesive and cohesive sediment. I tried to find
more information on how suspended sediment is simulated in W2. If I use re-suspension as distribtued load, do I need to divide it into cohesive and noncohesive compartment?
thanks.

(ps. I tried Tom's email a couple of times, but it got bounced back)
