pH solution

I’m trying to simulate a discharge of a solution with pH=2. The objective is to simulate difuse pollution from a mine. I have created a solution with ph=2, by setting alkalinity to zero and TIC to 10000. The value used for TIC is very high, but I could not find another way. What do you think about this? Is there another way to do this? With best regards Manuel Almeida
