why they are wrong i didn't change them

i will simulate many branches. so i made the bth.npt and the w2_con.npt and add some branches to the files once. then i precheck the files. there are no problems before. today i added branch7 branch8 branch9 and branch10 to the files(they are short). the problem came. i didn't change anything about constituent. i needn't simulate the constituent, i set the "CCC OFF". the prechecking stop at the “constituent control cards” "forrtl:severe(47):write to READONLY file, unit5, file CONIN$" the pre.err file tell Either illegal value or incorrect card somewhere in the following card LDOM_N OFF RDOM_N OFF LPOM_N OFF RPOM_N OFF what is the problem? i am confused thank you

Hi, I suspect the problem is caused by adding the 10th branch. Even though CCC is 'OFF', you'll need to start a new row after each constituent in the 'CIN CON', 'CDT CON', and 'CPR CON' control file cards. For instance, here's how a model with 12 branches is set up for the first few lines of the 'CIN CON' card: CIN CON CINBRC CINBRC CINBRC CINBRC CINBRC CINBRC CINBRC CINBRC CINBRC TDS ON ON ON ON ON ON ON ON ON TDS ON ON ON AGE OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF AGE OFF OFF OFF TRACER ON ON ON ON ON ON ON ON ON TRACER ON ON ON chris
