hypolimnetic aeration

I am using the hypolimnetic aeration algorithms to explore the value of an aeration system on DO, but I'm also interested in potential changes in pH associated with the CO2 that would come along with the O2. Am I correct that the algorithm adds oxygen, not air/C, and so won't project any changes in the carbonate model? If that's the case, would there be utility in also adding CO2? Thanks for any thoughts on this, Kellie

Hi Kellie, Yes - the current hypolimnetic aeration algorithm only adds O2, and not CO2. I believe it would be relatively straight forward to change the code so that CO2 is also added. Chris
