The user manual states that there are a number of examples in the EXAMPLE subdirectory. In the V 3.1 that I downloaded there is only the Spokane River Example. As I am trying to teach myself to use this model, would it be possible to get 1 or more examples (e.g., reservoir/lake models) that are a little less complex that I could use as a go by? Thanks, Jon Jonathan.Blount@mmr.brooks.af.mil [addsig]

Jim, E-mail me and I will then reply with a number of other examples. We need to set up the distribution package consistent with what is in the manual and will do this shortly. Tom[addsig]

Hi Tom, Is it possible that you can send me some examples too? I hope that you can reply me asap because i am facing limited duration to learn this program as this is my Final Year Project in school. Thank you for your help. e-mail nus78@yahoo.com With regards, george [addsig]

Hi, With reference to the manual example, Spokane River, may i ask what is the objective of the simulation? What is the physical problem that this example is facing and what is the result that it want to obtain from this simulation? thks With regards, george [addsig]

George, The Spokane River example involves simulating a portion of the Spokane River and Long Lake reservoir in order to set limits on dischargers into the Spokane. The key constituent is dissolved oxygen that will be used to base the TMDL on, but all the other constituents are important because of their effects on dissolved oxygen. Tom[addsig]

Hi Tom, With regard to the example that you sent to Jon, the alum creek reservoir, do you have the actual description of the example listed on the web? If so, can you kindly tell me the link. If not, can you kindly tell me what is the physical problem that this example is facing and what is the result that it want to obtain from this simulation? Thks With regards, george nus78@yahoo.com [addsig]
