Evaporation heat lost

I have a question on effects of evaporation on the heat balance. Inside the model, the evaporation effects are considered two times on the heat budget. once is when the model calculate the heat exchange at the surface and again another time use separately.
  • HEATEX = f(WIND, SRN, TAIR, TDEW,EV)
  • TSS(KT,I) = TSS(KT,I)+HEATEX
  • ...
  • ...
  • ...
  • TSS(KT,I) = TSS(KT,I)-EV(I)*T2(KT,I)
Anyone can explain that?

I found the answer myself. The “surface heat exchange” is the sum of all the shortwave and longwave solar radiations and back radiation, conductive and evaporative fluxes. So the evaporative flux is the heat needed for evaporation. The second “evaporation” is the equivalent amount of heat that removed from the lake because of the water evaporated as evaporation. So the water is removed from the lake and this is the temperature equivalent of that water.
