I am getting an error message while running the model. I tried to reduce the number of layers in an existing model and run it................... Fatal error - insufficient segments in branch 10............. Julian day = 174.93 water surface layer = 22............. Minimum water surface located at segment 151 with a bottom layer at 21............. What does this mean and how do I fix it?

Probably the problem is related to the calculated water level. You get water level which is higher than the assigned bathymetry. Two things, the easy method is to add a new layer on the top if you have enough data to update the bathymetry. Second, to adjust the water level by restricting the water not to raise more than an elevation. This can be done in several ways for example using distributed tributary or defining a spillway.
