I have Timestep violations in two cells, it doesn't affect much the whole waterbody but I don't know how to solve this problem or why it's appearing in those cells.
What can I do?
Marina,
Time step violation aren't usually a problem. If the number of times step violations exceeds 5% of the total iterations, you might want to try reducing maximum time step DLTMAX or time step fraction DLTF. Also, you can turn on the volume balance (VBC), energy balance (EBC), and mass balance(MBC) to make sure that mass and energy are being conserved. The results of the mass and energy balance calculations will be written to the snapshot file output.
