number of tribs per segment

can we have multiple tribs per segment or do we need to combine all tribs flowing into a segment into one file? I have multiple point sources in addition to side streams which add up to more than one trib for certain segments. Thanks. Mohammad

You can have any number of tributaries (point tributaries) at a given segment. There is no limit. You are limited to 1 distributed tributary per branch. If you need more than 1 per river reach you can either combine the inflow/outflows outside the model and prepare 1 file or break the reach into 2 branches and have 2 distributed tributaries.
