A problem with the flow boundary condition in the Upstream Boundary

I am running the version 3.5 of the model. I want to introduce the flow boundary condition in the upstream. To do this I set the UHS = 0 in the control file and introduce the flow file as "qin.npt" but the model can not read the flow rates in the file and set the flow rates equal to zero. It sounds like you have set up the control file correctly. It is important to ensure that UHS is zero but also that the file name used at the bottom of the control under Qin.... is the same as the actual file name. Also the control file and the inflow file are space delimited files and must be arranged correctly. Refer to the users's manual (page C-288) for the inflow file format. You should also use the preprocessor to read your input files and check the pre.opt file. This file will give statistics on your inflows and tell you if its read in properly. I hope this helps.
