Limitation on the layers thickness

Dear Sir/Madam I am new user of CE-QUAL-W2. I want to model the flow and salinity transport in a narrow rectangular channel having small height. Does CE-QUAL-W2 have limitation on the layers thickness? Thanks a lot J. Parsa
