Overshooting of Epilimnic temperature while calibrating

Hello everyone, I am trying to do the calibration starting from the water temperature. the calibration period is of one year. For the first six months, the water temperature calibrated value and model value are more or less at harmony, but with the onset of August till December, the calibrated values for almost the whole lake are much higher than the inflowing colder water. the difference is about 10 degrees celcius at the epilimnion and at hypolimnion its about 5 degrees celcius. I tried to apply a range of Theta value, changed the AX, DX, extinction coefficient (EX COEF), shading values as well but nothing seems to be working. Does anyone has any idea what might be wrong? What is factor which helps to reduce the calibrated epilimnic water temperature?? Thank you in advance.

Most of the time, temperature is highly sensitive to meteorological data. I suppose you had better check the file and especially the units. Are air temperatures in Celsius, wind in m/s (not Knots!)? You can also check the evaporation coefficients: A,B,C, especially A and B (ICE AND HEAT EXCHANGE CARD). In this case, check the water surface elevation after each change, because changes in A and B will further change temperature (especially in epilimnion) and water surface elevation. Hope it helps
