Units for TDS/salinity when using CE-QUAL-W2 for an estuary

I am using CE-QUAL-W2 in an estuary. The equation of state for density in the users manual states that salinity should be in units of kg/m^3 (or ppt). The manual states that the units of TDS is g/m^3. I have looked through the fortran code and it appears that I should just specify the TDS input data as salinity using units of ppt (or kg/m^3). Is this correct? [addsig]

When you choose FRESH in the w2_con.npt file, the model assumes that the parameter is TDS in g/m3. When choosing SALT, it interprets the TDS field as Salinity in kg/m3. Hope that helps ! Scott[addsig]
