how many component should I take care when simulating Iron/Manganese concentration

Hi, We recently meet a problem in a reservoir, which was affected by a storm-flood. after the flood, the water supply is abnormal because of the Iron/Manganese concentration higher than my country water quality standard. Now, we want carrying out a plan to monitor and simulate their concentration, is there anyone have the same experience in the simulation, pls give us an idea. thanks Pan Wenbin
