Islands

I would like to model a reservoir that has a thalweg that splits into two as it flows around a series of islands and then comes together before the reservoir's outlet. Is there a way to represent this in CE-QUAL-W2? Thanks, Jim

You can create a branch for each thalweg reach and connect each end of the branch back to the main channel. Make sure you pay attention to the way you connect the branches and their channel geometry so intabilities are not introduced.
