Using of CE-QUAL-W2

Hi all, I am currently using Ce-qual for my final year project. As i am new to this software, i have encountered difficulties in trying to understand how to use it. I hope someone out there is kind enough to give me some guidelines to use this software. Really appreciate for your help. One question to ask, can i use this software to run simulation on the coastal region, and what are the parameters/data that i need to take note of?? With regards, george [addsig]

George Yes, you can use W2 for an estuary system that can be represented as laterally averaged. Many coastal systems are 2-D horizontal or 3-D (if stratified) and hence W2 would not be the appropriate tool. Please refer to the W2 User Manual for information necessary to model an esturay system.
