Since the selective withdrawal can significantly affect water quality within the reservoir itself, I need to see if and how the localization of the water intake (in this case to the hydroelectric turbine) influences the thermal stratification and the water quality of my reservoir. Does this make sense? [addsig]

I'm unsure exactly what you are simulating. However, if you want to see what the impact will be by changing the outlet elevation, then specify a structure with an associated outflow file, and then just change the centerline elevation.[addsig]
