DTRIC

I noticed that the option to interpolate distributed tributary inflows, temperatures and constituent concentrations is available in two places, on the initial conditions cards under INTERPOL and on the inflow/outflow cards under DST TRIB. Is there a difference between these two options? What would be the effect if one was turned on and the other left off? Thanks[addsig]

I'm at a loss. DTRIC appears only in the section where QINIC and HDIC are specified (on the INTERPOL card image). The only other place in the control file that refers to distributed tributary controls is on the DST TRIB card where DTRC turns ON of OFF input of distributed tributary inflows/temperatures/concentrations for a given branch.[addsig]

Sorry for the confusion. I deleted what I thought was the "additional" DTRIC and the simulation ran through the preprocessor and W2 executable just fine. Here was the source of my confusion just in case. In the User Manual dated August 2002 under the DST TRIB card it shows two fields, DTRC and DTRIC. Also, in the river-reservoir-estuary and Spokane River examples I downloaded from the website, it shows both of these fields under the DST TRIB card in the control file. Again sorry for the confusion.[addsig]

Now I understand. I just looked at the DeGray example. Thanks for pointing this out. We will fix this shortly.[addsig]
