the rule of the data

hi, is there any rules about the input data of the bth.npt file? for example the length of the data, the number of the space and so on. my bth.npt cannot pass the prechecking. i tried another software w2i. the file which can pass the w2i's prechecking can not pass the w2's. i'm confused. what's the reason?

Hi, I'd make sure that the format of your bathymetry file is consistent with that in the version 3.6 manual. Also, remove any tab characters and replaces with spaces. I'm not familiar with w2i so I couldn't tell you why that seems to work...have you tried using the version 3.6 pre-processor? chris
