Flow output files remain unchanged

Hello, I have run my model a number of times with different values in the QDT files, but the flow output values for each branch remain the same after each run. I would expect the flows in each branch to increase, as I have been increasing the tributary inflows. Thank you for any advice, Matt

Hi Matt, First I'd make sure that the distributed tributary is turned on in the control file (see DST TRIB card in control file). The next thing I would check would be the formatting of the distributed tributary flow file. Are the julian day and flow rate columns each 8 columns wide? Also make sure that there aren't any tab characters. Hope this helps, Chris

Thanks for the reply Chris, The tributaries are turned on and the formatting of the input files is correct. Since posting, I learned that the problem may be that the boundary conditions are not letting the distributed tributaries (groundwater) continue downstream. The dams are set to spill a certain amount, which I may need to change. I am actually running Scenario A from Ecology (WA) for the Spokane River. The groundwater flow in each branch is increased, but I see no change in discharge at Long Lake. Matt
