velocity vector plots

I am wondering if anyone has had success in generating velocity vector plots and what program was used. We have discovered a data visualizer program called MayaVi and are in the process of attempting to plot output from our model. Has anyone used this program successfully?[addsig]

AGPM works very well for velocity vectors .. . i haven't ever tryed MayaVi, but with AGPM you can do some nice animations of velocity vectors overlayed with any modeled constituent you want[addsig]

There are many commerical packages that do this well also. We always use TECPLOT - but SURFER would work also for static plots. The advantage of TECPLOT is that you can animate the vectors. We usually use output from the CPL file and have a sorting program to sort it into other file formats. Scott[addsig]
