Question about CE-QUAL-W2 daily output.

Dear Professor Wells and Professor Berger My name is Ramon Pinto de Barros, I'm a Master degree student at the University of Brasília, Brazil - Postgraduate Program on Environmental Technology and Water Resources - Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. I've been using the CE-QUAL-W2 model for almost an year, making an effort to turn it useful for simulations of the most important reservoir of the Brazilian Federal District, the Descoberto Reservoir, used to supply water for human consumption of 60% of the population (1.8 million people). I have developed a python language tool for automatic model calibration and the application has been satisfactory. I may say that the model has been simulating greatly Temperature and Water levels, However, if possible, I would like to clarify a question about the model output data. I would like to have a better understanding related to the model output "day-by-day data". This is very important for our understanding of the model output and the Reservoir as well. I'm working mostly with monthly gauged data. Only the climate data are daily through the entire series. Consequently, one of the goals of my work is to understand what is happening to Descoberto Reservoir in the days that we don't have available data (observed data). As the climate data is hourly, I have doubts about the results generated by the model.. EG: Would the result of JDAY 100.0 be from the start of the day (00:00am), or an averaged data from the entire day? I may tell that the climate here in Brasilia may vary from 10ºC to 35ºC in a single day-night cycle, so, even though the model is not outputting hourly, it'd be great to know if my understanding related to the model outputs is correct. I am simulating temperature for calibration purposes. Thanks in advance.
