Modeling dissolved oxygen

Hi, I am trying to model dissolved oxygen and I don't have a lot of input water quality data. All I have are dissolved oxygen, amnonia, nitrite plus nitrate, total phosphorus, and algae. I don't have LDOM, RDOM, or LPOM. Can I still model DO with the data I have? -Lai

To the best of my knowledge, LDOM, RDOM, or LPOM are typically derived from measurements like BOD or TOC or some other estimate of organic matter. If your DO concentrations are consistently below saturation levels, then the representing the decay of organic matter and its oxygen demand would be important. You may want to build a simple model with quick run times as a test. I've heard that a tool like PEST (http://www.pesthomepage.org) can then test the relative importance of additional data collection. That though, is beyond my expertise.
