Gate dissolved gas

I was trying to compute Gate Dissolved Gas but has been getting weird results. Even when I set all the a, b, c coefficients in the GATE GAS card to 0, I still got drastic changes in the constituent (nutrients, solids, etc) concentrations compared to the run when GATE GAS was off. When the coefficients are 0, I suppose the computed TDG should be 0. According to the manual, if TDG is computed to be less than 100%, there should be no effect of the gate on reaeration. Any idea what the problem may be? Thanks.

Ka-Leung, This is just a hunch, but having the b and c coefficients set to zero might cause a problem. The c coefficient is usually in the exponent, and b^c will return a value of 1.0 if both b and c are equal to zero. Try setting b=0 and c=1 - this will result with b^c=0.0. chris
