what is the water quality paremeters needs for water quality simulation with CE-QUAL-W2?

Hosein, It depends on the goals of the model effort. If eutrophication is being modeled, then the following constituents are usually required: Dissolved Oxygen Sediment compartment Nutrients: PO4-P, NH3-N, NOx-N Organic Matter compartments: LDOM, RDOM, LPOM, and RPOM (CBOD can be used also) Phytoplankton (and/or epiphyton) If only DO depletion downstream of a WTP is being modeled, then only a CBOD group and the zeroth order sediment compartment may be needed. chris

Thank you for your help. I have another problem I have preprocessed and there are no error and warning. But When running w2_cvf.exe,there are errors as following. "forrtl: info(58) format syntax error at or near 0.00000 " and "forrtl: servere(62):syntax error in format, unit-5, file internal formatted write or ENCODE " How can I solve it? Sincerely Yours madadi
